Actions during the hurricane or storm

These actions apply during active hurricane or storm conditions.

Action checklist

• All staff, except those required on duty in Meteorological, Security, and Electrical departments and one maintenance technician, should weather the storm at home.
• Manager of Meteorology or designated Officer in Charge must maintain contact with:
  • General Manager
  • Manager of Air Traffic Services
  • Director of Operations
  • National Disaster Management Agency / National Emergency Advisory Council
• All security officers should remain within the designated terminal building area.
• Employees required to work during tropical cyclone conditions will be assisted by the Authority with essential domestic affairs as necessary.
