The Fire Chief or designate should ensure personnel support and emergency equipment are fully ready before the season begins.

Action checklist

• Ensure the Fire Hall is equipped with first-aid kits.
• Ensure lanterns and flashlights are serviceable.
• Ensure all radios are working.
• Coordinate with the Stores supervisor to equip an ambulance first-aid kit.
