Warning issued actions: Air Traffic

The Manager of Air Traffic Services should execute the following warning-phase actions.

Action checklist

• Re-arrange ATC roster so post-storm duty personnel are those living closest to MBIA.
• Fill Tower vehicle (Mobile 24A) with fuel.
• Liaise with the telephone company to determine estimated restoration time for inter-island link (A4).
• Send portable VHF transceiver to Carriacou (in advance).
• Ensure air/ground equipment (antennas, radios, etc.) is secured by ECCAA technicians.
